The GIFTS organization would like to express sincere thanks to The Janesville Gazette and WCLO Radio for their coverage.

 When we asked the men, during our first week of operation, how they knew the shelter was opening, most of them indicated that they found out through the coverage in the local media.

Getting the word out to those in need is crucial to being able to help them.  In this case, it was literally the difference between life and death.
